Nasagas - gas leakage detector

| What?

Nasagas is a very sensitive gas sniffer used to detect and locate gas leakages in piping, couplings, etc,. of gas fired appliances.

| How?

Through the aspirating gun the vapors are sucked and conveyed to the sensitive element which signal, duly conditioned, gives out the indication of the size of the leak detected.

| Where?

At final test of gas fired appliances.

| Who?

Manufacturers of gas fired appliances.

| Why?

  • Safe: no flame
  • Test time reduction
  • Elimination of false failure
  • Fast cleaning time (after detection)
  • Final results transmitted to PC of existing test stations
  • Quality improvement
  • Full traceability of test data
  • Test data available for statistical elaboration

| Using NASAGAS

  • Turning it on
  • 3 seconds zeroing sucking air
  • Operator inspection of the possible leakages trough the use of the sucking gun
  • Whenever a leak is found 3 signals are transmitted:
    • Acoustic
    • Yellow led lighting
    • Increasing bar displayed
  • Leak result transmission to PC or PLC of the test bench.
