Executing endurance tests
Life tests are important to predict the behaviour of appliances along their lifecycle. Cyclic stress tests will identify the weak components and provide additional infomation about their deterioration along the time.
Ready for tests of hydrogen-supplied appliances.
User interface
A window is dedicated to each test station and it is divided into four areas:
a) activation buttons, one for each digital output (for example pneumatic valves, pump, boiler thermostat)
b) measurements (for example temperatures, pressures, flow rates)
c) graphs where the on/off trends of the digital outputs are displayed over time, both when they are manually activated and when the test sequences are running.
d) sequencer. This tool allows the user to build sequences of conditions (states of the outputs). An area is dedicated to show on the screen what step of what sequence, and what number of repetitions, have been reached.
Above the currently used window, a series of tabs are shown to let the user select another test station and access the above-described areas.
Ready for tests of hydrogen-supplied appliances.
Common functions
a) measurement of DHW inlet and outlet temperatures;
b) DHW water flow rate regulation and measurement
c) measurement of CH flow and return temperatures;
d) CH return temperature automatically controlled by the software;
e) CH flow temperature automatically controlled by the software;
f) fumes temperature measurement;
g) output contact, controlled by the software, to simulate the room thermostat to the boiler under test;
NOTE: the direct communication between the PC and the control boards of the boilers under test is available.
