A recent project
Presenting one of our recent products we are excited to unveil Microplan's automated dry testing for indoor heat pump units (IDU).
Main tests:
• Electric safety tests;
• Air-assisted water circuit leakage testing;
• Measurement of electrical absorption;
• Temperature measurement of the Indoor Unit (IDU) cross-verified against PT100 of the test bench;
• Measurement of electrical resistance in the auxiliary heater.
Most of the tests are executed through a Modbus streamlined protocol which is integrated within Microplan's standard Parseq software platform for end-of-line testing.
IDU firmware and board parameters programming are also executed using the same communication protocol.
Parseq software platform from Microplan is already used by many customers in the functional tests of boilers, water heaters, and other components, consequently, operators and technicians are already familiar with the interface and the parameter settings. Furthermore, Parseq is utilized by companies, belonging to a group, simplifying product testing across various production facilities.
Integrations with the factory databases are obtained as follows:
a) the test bench seamlessly links with the company's Manufacturing Execution System (MES), consistently obtaining updated information on each unit designated for testing;
b) all test results are automatically and securely stored on the company's server, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
The testing bench includes signals interfacing with optical safety curtains, restricting access to the testing area to ensure operator safety comprehensively.
